House of Oluwole is a three-room atelier above a bookshop in Ikoyi. We work with a short list of clients — about sixty men a year — on suits, jackets, agbada and wedding wear.

Every commission starts with a conversation, not a measurement. We ask how you move, how you carry weight, what you wear on your worst day. Then we cut, fit, and fit again.

Our process

From measurement to delivery.

Conversation

We talk about what you want, where you'll wear it, and what you already love or dislike in your wardrobe. 45 minutes, by appointment only.

Cloth

We select fabric from our house cloths — British, Italian and Irish mills — or source something specific for you.

Pattern

Our head cutter drafts a pattern just for you. This is the step most shops skip and the one that makes the difference.

First fitting

A basted baste-fit two weeks in. You try the rough shape on, we mark adjustments in chalk, and we take the garment apart again.

Second fitting

A near-finished fit. Final tweaks to sleeves, shoulder line, and trouser break.

Delivery

Pressed, bagged, and delivered to the studio or your home. With a promise to re-alter if anything shifts.

Clients

Kind words.

Olumide took me from 'off-the-rack Lagos' to a man who looks like himself. I've never gone back.
— Chidi Okeke · Client since 2019
He cut the dinner jacket I wore to my own wedding. Three years on, it still fits like the day he finished it.
— David Adebayo · Groom, Ikoyi 2023
I walked in for alterations and left with a new suit. Best mistake I've ever made.
