We met in a lecture hall at the University of Lagos in 2015, fell in love over jollof and late-night calls, and after ten years of friendship and three years of dating, we're getting married. Please join us.
Adunni Oluwaseun Adeyemi & Tunde Olumide Ogundimu request the honour of your presence at the celebration of their marriage on Saturday, 14 June 2026 at The Monarch Event Centre, Lagos, Nigeria.
Adunni was in her third year reading Economics, Tunde was a final-year Computer Science student. They sat next to each other at a guest lecture on 'Africa's economic future', argued for the entire hour, and exchanged numbers afterwards so they could keep arguing.
Three months of friendship turned into three years of best-friendship. Long walks in Freedom Park, suya under the Third Mainland Bridge, and phone calls that lasted until sunrise. Everyone around them knew before they did.
Tunde proposed on the beach in Cape Coast, Ghana — the place of their first proper holiday together. She said yes before he finished the sentence. They still argue about who saw it coming first.
We're gathering the two families, our closest friends, and anyone who's been part of the story to celebrate in Lagos. Come eat, dance, cry with us, and witness ten years becoming forever.
Welcome drinks and light refreshments. Please be seated by noon.
